Golf Power & Fitness Development
Measured speed you can actually keep on the course. This isn’t generic gym work — it’s golf-specific strength, mobility, balance and coordination built around your biomechanics, then audited, retested, and transferred to real shots. Senior-friendly options included. No under-18s.
This programme serves adults (18+) only. Senior-friendly programming available.
Why power, mobility and coordination matter in golf
Power in golf is controlled force delivered at the right time. It comes from a stable base, efficient sequencing and a centre-face strike — not simply “swinging harder.” By improving strength in the hips and trunk, restoring useful mobility, and timing your pressure into the lead side, you unlock speed that stays inside your dispersion window.
Mobility & functional movement keep the pattern available: more hip IR/ER, T-spine rotation, and shoulder ER/IR where you can actually use it. We target the minimum effective range and teach you to control it under load so the swing feels safer and more repeatable.
Coordination & balance make the difference under pressure. If you can’t hold your finish, you can’t hold your sequence. Balance-to-finish holds, rhythm calibration and ground-timing give you a predictable release and more centred contact.
Who this helps most
Golfers who want measured speed without losing dispersion
Senior golfers seeking joint-friendly strength, rhythm, and honest distance
Players returning from injury who need functional movement and confidence
Golfers who “lose it” on the course — need balance, timing, coordination
Anyone with low back/hip/shoulder tightness impacting turn and strike
Everything is coached through golf tasks first, gym movements second. We measure, not guess — and we stop adding speed if your strike or face-to-path windows degrade.
Outcome: Build the platform: hip/trunk strength, usable mobility, balance, rhythm and centre-face strike. Expect honest distance via better contact and launch/spin before pure mph rises.
Movement & strength screen, contact map, driver/wedge launch & spin
Joint-friendly strength (hinge, split, anti-rotation), mobility you can own
Balance-to-finish holds; rhythm calibration (3-beat); land-timing primer
Final audit: same tests; video summary + next-steps
Integration Fitness & Transfer (16–20 weeks) — £1,350–£1,900
Start + Mid + Final auditsOn-course integrationSpeed laddersWindows calibration
Outcome: Convert new capacity into usable on-course speed. Tighten face windows, stabilise wedge/driver launch & spin, and keep dispersion playable when stakes rise.
Audits at start, mid, final (film + summary)
On-course transfer every 4–5 weeks; dispersion mapping by pattern
Speed ladders with stop-rules (strike first); land-timing cues
Identity anchor & reset routine so the new pattern survives pressure
Joint-friendlyStart + Mid + Final auditsBalance & rhythmBall & loft fit
Outcome: Honest speed without strain. Balance, rhythm and strike first; lead-side land-timing for predictable release; ball compression and driver loft matched to current speed.
Mobility in controllable ranges (hips IR/ER, T-spine rotation, shoulder ER)
Ball compression & driver loft fit; dispersion-aware targeting and strategy
Audits at start, mid, final (contact map, windows, launch/spin) + video summary
Built for: 50+ golfers prioritising comfort, confidence and carry — especially those managing arthritis, back/hip stiffness, or a history of flare-ups.
Speed is valuable only when it stays inside your strike and face-to-path windows. We pause speed work if windows degrade, restore control, then continue.
Who benefits — and how you’ll feel it on the course
Power seekers: Add measurable mph without spray. Expect higher, longer carries from centre-face contact and cleaner launch/spin.
Coordination & balance needs: Finish holds and land-timing make the release predictable. Rhythm reduces mishits under pressure.
Functional movement goals: Hips/T-spine/shoulders regain useful range you can control — fewer flare-ups, more confidence to turn and finish.
Senior golfers: Joint-friendly strength, rhythm-first speed, ball compression and loft matched to today’s speed for honest distance.
Returning from niggles: Graduated loading and movement options that respect your history while restoring strike and trust.
Adults only: this programme is for 18+ golfers. No under-18s.
FAQ
Will this increase my clubhead speed?
Yes — but we build it safely. Strength and mobility create capacity; rhythm and land-timing convert it; strike windows keep it playable. If windows degrade, we pause speed work and restore control first.
Is this “just gym work”?
No. We measure golf outcomes (contact map, windows, launch/spin) and train movements that improve those outcomes. The gym serves the shot — not the other way around.
I’m a senior with joint issues — is this appropriate?
Yes. The Senior programme uses joint-friendly strength, controllable ranges, rhythm-led speed and ball/loft fit. The goal is honest distance and comfort, not strain.
How much time will I need each week?
Most golfers succeed on 2–3 short sessions (30–40 minutes) plus one coaching slot. Minimal effective dose beats long, exhausting workouts.
